Now you can! GWC Hosts Joe Alexander and Carlos Gomez help you ‘network’ and get your questions answered by the wardens, biologists, and industry professionals in those areas of interest! And if you prefer, we’ll share your question or conversations with all the other sportsmen-listeners as we navigate together the many, seemingly complicated ‘ravines and regulations’ of your targeted areas of outdoor pursuit. With a career that has spanned over 4 decades as a State Game Warden in Oklahoma, Carlos Gomez brings a lifetime of experience and connections across North America to GWC, including over 20 years serving in the North American Wildlife Enforcement Officers Association (NAWEOA - an international game wardens fraternal organization), Gomez has connected with a lot of North America’s Game Wardens. Once, selected as the top officer for the SE United States by the Southeastern Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies, he continues serving on the staff of NAWEOA’s flagship magazine, International Game Warden. Far beyond experiences of investigating wildlife crime, or traveling North America for conferences, throughout his career he’s patrolled or hunted, or simply “networked” with officers from across the continent. Gomez has long understood the valuable partnerships shared between wardens and sportsmen as they all seek to protect, share, and enjoy great fishing and hunting resources. Now it’s become his new goal since retiring, to help fellow sportsmen benefit from those experiences and contacts, and develop their own… Game Warden Connection.

“If you are searching for it… you will find it outdoors” with a lifelong love for all things outdoors Joe Alexander is always eager to give back and help others learn about the wonders of wildlife. With 26 years in law enforcement, Alexander has had the opportunity to make lifelong connections with Game Wardens, Biologists, and outdoor industry professionals across the United States and Canada. He serves on many boards in various positions in conservation law enforcement and works closely with many agencies always striving to improve opportunities and experiences for the public. Alexander is a strong advocate for public land use and increased hunting and fishing opportunities, he is looking forward to sharing his connections with you.
